ePortfolio

I was really excited to look at your brand new ePortfolios while grading. Especially when I found some student go above and beyond so early in the term! They put new quotes on the home page and one student even made a section for "Fluffy Cat of the Week". Great job, guys!

Have a Giffy Day!

For my workshop today I learned how to make GIF files. You may know that I'm a big fan of stop motion animation and time lapse photography. GIFs are also something I have always wanted to learn how to create. We had an hour to learn about, and make, a short GIF. Here is a sample that we did on the fly. I'm excited to teach you all how to make your very own GIF files. Enjoy your weekend!

Please note that we didn't have access to a tripod so the composition is off a little bit in each frame.

Experimental animation meets pottery

Whoo hoo! How great is this?!

C Diddy - Air Guitar!

I hope you are all enjoying your four day weekend! For our professional development today, we art teachers were exposed to something that I never thought I would find interesting: air guitar. While our presenter Dyin' Cletus (an art teacher!) was making a correlation between judging air guitar performances and grading artwork, I want to make a point that YOU can relate with. Watch this video and tell me, is C Diddy "one with the music"? How can we be "one with our art"? Whatever your passion is - pursue it! And Rock on!
